Reporting Officer

Junior Programme Officer position Swiss salaried contract 2’200 CHF (~1’900 €) <> 2’400 CHF (2’100 €) net /month x 13 times (+ Withholding AVS candidate for Switzerland). Vacancy: 25 days/year, Health insurance, accident and medical repatriation insurance, location, return flight.
Context:
Following significant armed opposition in Rahkine State (Myanmar) started on August 25, 2017, an estimated 420 000 refugees crossed the border into Bangladesh. Among them 180 000 people arrived in already existing official camps and their surroundings (makeshift), while 250 000 crisis-affected settle in new spontaneous sites or are hosted by extremely vulnerable host communities. A majority of the refugees are children.
While some emergency actors in the area are already providing assistance, the scale of the crisis is beyond response capacity.
There is no expected end to this crisis for the coming months and the number of crisis-affected is likely to increase. Worst case scenario could reach a total of 800 000 refugees in the coming months.
Tdh sent an emergency team composed of thematic specialists (Child protection, Health and WaSH) as well as a logistic Manager and is looking for an Administration, HR & Finance Manager in this opening context.
Main responsibilities:
The Reporting Officer contributes to the daily monitoring of the emergency operations in Cox’s Bazar and the successful operation of programs and support services. He/She facilitates and improves the flow of information between the emergency team, the delegation team and HQ and ensures proper monitoring of activities.
Fonction details :
Assist the Emergency Coordinator in the implementation of programs
He/She contributes to the effective monitoring of programs (attainment of objectives, monitoring of indicators, in compliance with the schedule of activities, budget monitoring, contractual report...)
He/She alerts the Emergency Coordinator in cases where discrepances in the execution of programs would be identified and proposes adjustments (at the level of activities, intervention area, budget, implementation schedule...)
He/She contributes to humanitarian needs assessments
He/she contributes to project proposal drafting
He/She assists the Emergency Coordinator in preparing emergency strategy
He/she is in charge and coordinates external and internal reporting on the emergency operations
He/she takes minutes in coordination meeting
He/she takes minutes in external meetings
He/she consolidates situation reports from project staffs
He/she consolidates data from the field to present results
He/she prepares retro plannings and pilots the redaction of donor reports
He/she coordinates the redaction of program activities reports
He/she ensures compliance of the documents produced with the graphic chart, with donor requirement and ensures good quality reports are produced
Assist the Emergency Coordinator with the training and supervision of teams
He/She organizes training of expatriate and local personnel (organizational, methodological, possibly technical support, organization for training...) and recommends internal or external training programs
He/She assists the Emergency Coordinator in designing training on monitoring tools
Ensure Tdh representation
At the request of the Emergency Coordinator, he/she represents the organization locally to donors, NGOs, International Organizations and local authorities, and reports interview findings to supervisors.
He/she participates as an active member in internal coordination meetings.
Assist head of Delegation in liaisons with headquarters
- He/She prepares SitRep and external reports and submits them for confirmation to the Emergency Coordinator by complying with internal confirmation deadlines and external contracts expiration dates (project reports).

Providing guidance to employees and others and defining expectations when it comes to preventing, raising, denouncing and responding to issues of child abuse.
Reducing the risk of child abuse by selectively recruiting employees and others.
Reducing the risk of child abuse by developing a culture of open and informed leadership within the organization and in our work with children.
