The role
We are currently looking for Rohingya Response Finance Lead to be based in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh.
Role Purpose
The Rohingya Response Finance Lead is the focal person for the emergency response in Cox Bazar. The role is a key contact point between Cox Bazar response team, Country Office, Regional Office and Centre.
As part of the Senior Management Team (SMT) in CXB, the person is expected to be familiar with financial data and be comfortable in presenting datapoints to other stakeholders. He or she will have the flexibility to introduce new ideas or ways of working as deemed necessary.
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
Qualifications and experience
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree holder in related subject (Finance, Accounting) or chartered accountancy qualification (ACCA, CPA, ACA, etc)
- Minimum 2 years' experience in senior management of Finance team in International Organisation (Preferably NGO)
- At least 5-10 years of Finance experience working for NGO.
Essential
- Experience working in an large scale Emergency Finance Context
- Experience of working in a INGO
- Able to lead and has managed a team of at least 5 people
- Fluent in English (reading, writing & speaking)
- High level of competency in Word and Excel
Desirable
- Familiar with Agresso ERP system
- Familiar with Save the Children Award Management System (AMS)
- Understanding of Bangla
Contract length: 6 months (Extendable)
