Project Objective:
SI is responding to a Task Order under our ALME/RDMA contract. The purpose of this Task Order (TO) is to test and inform USAID the effectiveness of USAID Nurture’s interventions and intermediary outcomes against the Theory of Change, and also to determine the feasibility of scaling to additional geographic regions and populations within Laos.
Period of Performance:
This is a part-time position, and we are looking to hire as soon as possible. LOE is roughly as follows:
- 36 days in 2018
- 36 days in 2019
Responsibilities:
Local Operations Manager will be responsible for interacting directly with USAID Nurture implementing partner staff as well as with local survey research partners on technical matters when the Team Leader is not in the country; ensuring that data collection proceeds according to agreed-upon quality assurance standards; and providing regular progress updates to the Social Impact team.
Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant social science or public health-related field;
- Demonstrated previous experience with survey design and the implementation of evaluations and other types of studies, speak Lao.
- Experience working in Laos and ability to speak Laos
