PSI, together with a team of international and local partners, will implement the USAID-funded Advancing UHC in Bangladesh (AUHC) project to transform the world's largest NGO network of maternal and health clinics across 64 districts in Bangladesh into a sustainable, pro-poor social enterprise, the Surjer Hashi Network (SHN), to advance the country's progress toward universal health coverage.
We are looking for an energetic and creative Marketing Officer who is passionate about making markets work for a social cause, delivered through a sustainable business model to help us with the network transformation. In this role you will effectively plan, develop and implement all strategic marketing activities aimed at accelerating the transition of the network to achieve a sustainable health service delivery network that meets the needs of the poor in Bangladesh while increasing its long-term prospects through an expanded revenue base. If you are an entrepreneurial person who thrives on creating marketing strategies to build brands, understands how to leverage market and consumer insights to unlock growth, enjoys managing a P&L, and can design and execute a strategy - read on! Your contribution
In this role you will support the Marketing Advisor and AUHC team to plan, develop and implement all strategic marketing activities:
Marketing Support
- Analyze and apply market research and learnings to inform AUHC marketing strategy and implementation plan
- Support the marketing strategy and communication plan development, including promotion budget, implementation and ongoing evaluation of marketing activities
- Support development and production of mass or mid-media, BTL and IEC promotion and communication materials
- Provide continuous inputs and support for improving tools and guidelines for market strategy implementation and campaign roll-out
- Work with AUHC and SHN teams for program planning and effective implementing
- Monitor social media discussions about the network, industry and market to inform strategy
Training
- Arrange trainings for SHN staff and appropriate clinic management in applying data for decision making, brand awareness and campaign roll-out
- Conduct in-the-field training and support to network staff on marketing as needed
- Create, update and maintain a library of manuals, tools and other marketing resources used in training and development
What are we looking for?
- You have BA/BS degree or higher, preferably in marketing or business.
- You have minimum 3 years successful background experience in consumer-facing product and/or service delivery marketing and management.
- You have marketing and business strategy development experience, including portfolio management and P&L.
- You have experience managing product and portfolio level sales volume and value performance.
- You have consumer and market research experience.
- You are a Bangladesh national.
- You have English language spoken and written fluency.
- References will be required.
