How can you make a difference?
The temporary position will support the Ministry of Health and Welfare in the capacity building and scale up of the new modules in the health management information system, especially LMIS and e-tracker. It will enable UNICEF to deliver on critical results in immunization, reaching universal coverage, in health systems strengthening, data driven programming and continuum of care. The incumbent will work under the guidance of the Chief of Health and under the direct supervision of the Health Specialist (Health Systems Strengthening (L4)). S/he will work in close collaboration with EPI specialist and MNCAH sub-unit.
Summary of key functions/accountabilities:
1. Capacity building on eHMIS related to EPI MIS for the personnel of DGHS at national and sub-national levels;
2. Assist in the roll out and quality reporting of results through eHMIS with a focus to EPI electronic registry (individual tracker) and eMIS
3. Technical support in implementation of Immunization Supply Chain and Logistics (ISCL) Management by linking with Health Management Information System (HMIS)
4. Assist in the delivery of results on eHMIS related to EPI within the framework of Health System Strengthening (HSS)

Education: A University degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology management, public health, statistics or related social science field is required.
Experience:
Technical Competencies: Proven experience in Expanded Program on Immunization management, Immunization Supply Chain and Logistics (ISCL) Management and electronic data management systems (e.g. DHIS2)
Language Requirements: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language is an asset.
