This is an expatriate position intended to build capacity of national staff and refugee volunteers. The Technical Advisory (TA) will carry out all duties with local counterparts to ensure sustainability and maximize localization.
Responsibilities
Build capacity of camp-based CHV management team to develop the following skills:
Oversee and facilitate continued implementation of CommCare (tablet-based health application) in the field
Identify areas for improvement within our program’s existing CommCare framework
Troubleshoot logistical challenges related to CommCare (connectivity, charging, storage, security, etc.)
Evaluate and address program needs based on outcomes reported through CommCare
Build capacity of M&E Coordinator to develop the following skills:
Work with CommCare technical support to tailor the application to CHV program needs
Collaborate with field-based team leaders and CHVs to build competency and confidence with using CommCare
Provide support to CHV M&E Field Coordinator to ensure camp-based management of CommCare
Evaluate program needs based on outcomes related to CommCare
Essential Qualification and Skills
Any relevant degree with 3-5 years experience in global health
Program management and data collection experience
Presentation skills, writing, and analytical skills
Basic knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive
Strong interpersonal skills and positive approach with colleagues and partners
Ability to establish good working relationships with stakeholders with different cultural backgrounds
Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills
