Job Purpose:
Support programme design, preparation of programme proposals and donor reports, setting up and maintaining knowledge management systems within Concern Bangladesh and provide the necessary documentation support to the Senior Management Team (SMT).
Programme Design:
· Visit, review and understand the programmes, identify strengths and weakness and make recommendations for further development
· Work with the Programme Director and Heads of Programmes to design new programmes based on the learning from Concern’s programme and other organisations experience
· Assist in writing proposals and submission to donors
· Support Programme Director and Heads of Programmes in maintaining a donor database
· Support programme managers in preparing quality reports for donors and Concern HQ and internal monitoring
· Assist the Senior Management Team to develop country specific papers and reports for profile building and advocacy
· Support the Communication Coordinator in updating (and creation) of communication materials for local and international Public relations
· Support the Communication Coordinator and programme Management Team and partners in the development of reports, case studies and other relevant documentation
· Provide support to the Communication Coordinator to manage the storing of documentation, both electronic and hard copy documentation
· Ensure compliance with Concern’s Programme Participant Protection Policy.
Any other tasks as assigned by the Programme Director or the Country Director
PERSON SPECIFICATION
ESSENTIAL
Education, Qualifications & Experience Required:
· Master’s Degree in development/humanitarian studies or similar field
· At least 2-3 years practical experience working in development field with NGO preferably in overseas field
· Experience of programme design and proposal writing
· Proven experience of high quality report writing

· Fluent in English, both verbal and written
· Ability to act as part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team
· Ability to organize and prioritize workload, using initiative when appropriate
