MSI's Medical Development Team is responsible for quality assuring all clinical services delivered by MSI country programmes to ensure their effectiveness, safety and an excellent client experience. MDT supports country programmes to develop and maintain in-country clinical capacity needed to maintain clinical quality. The team also provides training and supervisory support that enables country programme teams to meet clinical competency requirements as laid out in MSI guidelines for clinical services.
The Role:
Representing the Medical Development Team, you will guide the country programmes in strengthening clinical quality and clinical governance in their public sector support (PSS) channels - training local public sector clinical practitioners. You will also play a key role in the development, implementation and continuous improvement of clinical training systems across the MSI partnership. The position reports to Global Training Lead.
About you
It is essential that you are a qualified clinician (doctor, clinical officer, nurse or midwife) and have significant clinical experience in Sexual Reproductive Health, and in providing and quality assuring safe abortion care and modern contraceptive services. You should also be experienced in facilitating workshop/training sessions at a senior management level as well as at grass roots, and also coaching and mentoring other clinical trainers.
Qualifications in training /learning & development would be highly desirable. Speaking a regional language would also be an advantage.

Location: Preferred locations would be Bangladesh, India, Nigeria and Vietnam.
