The Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) is working with BRAC since 2010 to implement Infant and Young Child Nutrition (IYCN) Programme. The Program Associate will work with GAIN and BRAC team, as well as coordinate with Institute of Public Health Nutrition (IPHN) and relevant directorates of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoH&FW) and other government and non-government stakeholders to ensure quality delivery and adequate coordination.
We are looking for an Associate to provide technical support as well as oversee Maternal Nutrition intervention to Pilot a new intervention through BRAC Health, Nutrition and Population Programme (HNPP) for one year.
S/he will ensure that the interventions are coordinated and so that overall project milestones and goals are met. The role will include working with the project partners, all levels of government, civil society, private sector and academia to facilitate a supportive stakeholder and policy environment in parallel to implementation.
The ideal candidate must have demonstrated expertise in SBCC principles and practices, as well as marketing.
Also, strong experience in community level project implementation and management, preferably for SBCC and/or nutrition programs. In addition, the ideal candidate must possess experience in conducting capacity building training for field staff and in analysis of data and quality reporting.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bangla is required.
