CARE is a leading international humanitarian aid organisation fighting global poverty, with a special focus on working with women and girls to bring lasting change to their communities.

The Program Quality & Nutrition Coordinator (PQNC) leads the Program Quality Unit and provides strategic and technical advice to program and project staff. It has the responsibility to review and write project proposals and lead the multi-year program quality strategy. The role also contributes to the development of CARE’s programs, and strategic partnerships with donors, international and national NGOs and government in Laos, maximising mutual benefit and mutual accountability.

CARE Australia is seeking someone with significant experience working in international development and skills in the management of people and development programming. Your relevant experience in the implementation of effective nutrition approaches will be complemented by your ability to design and develop monitoring and evaluation systems. Your experience in international aid, strategic thinking and decision-making skills as well as capacity to build mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders will ensure you perform successfully in this position. Your excellent management and leadership skills, sound judgement, intellect and demonstrated ability to create and sustain long-term partnerships will set you apart from others.
