Our Team
The Campaigns Team is a dynamic team of policy, media and comms working on the Rohingya Response in Bangladesh. The team works in coordination with country Policy Advocacy Campaign and Communication team as well as with Regional and Global program to define advocacy influencing and campaign strategy to improve the lives of Rohingya refugees and the host community in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
The Role:
Provide policy support on the Rohingya crisis in Bangladesh, maintaining key relationships both internally to seek opportunities for building policy asks to targets as well as externally with advocacy allies and partners. To work with the programme team and Campaigns & Advocacy Manager to understand issues facing humanitarian response and what policy issues can be teased out for advocacy purposes at local, national, regional and global levels.
What we are looking for:
Essential
· University Education and/or substantial experience of working with INGO’s in the following specialization: M&E, funding and/or programming;
· Demonstrable experience of planning for, securing and managing funds from UN agencies
· High level of analytical skills and critical thinking with the ability to research, analyses, and report
· Knowledge of Project Cycle Management with previous field experience
· Excellent written skills with proven ability to develop and present proposals and donor reports, for both internal and external audiences.
· Strong numeracy and financial skills, particularly in developing budgets, financial management/monitoring and reporting.
· Experience in capacity building; coaching and delivering training at an individual and
group level.
· Highly developed interpersonal and communication and relationship skills with ability to influence external organisations and individuals and ability to work effectively with others in diverse team situations to achieve fundraising targets
· Information management and IT skills with attention to detail to develop and analyse donor budgets and financial reports; and to develop/maintain, and give guidance on
electronic and manual contract management and reporting systems.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and a proactive approach to funding
· Ability to manage his/her time effectively.
- Fluency in written and spoken English
· Gender knowledge and cultural sensitivity with a strong commitment and understanding of Oxfam's values and principles
Desirable
- Knowledge and / or experience of common Oxfam norms objects, standards and tools Knowledge of the Rohingya / Cox’s Bazar response

· Ability to demonstrate an openness and willingness to learn about the application of gender/gender mainstreaming, women’s rights, and diversity for all aspects of development work
