PURPOSE
The Information Manager is a core Sector Coordination team member. The purpose of this post is to manage the collection, analysis and sharing of information that is important for the Sector participants to make informed (evidence based) strategic decisions.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
The post holder is responsible for managing Education Sector information including:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Education: University degree or equivalent experience in information management or geographic sciences and related fields, including data analysis and interpretation of information.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience with either the UN and/or NGO, Advanced knowledge on mapping tools and map making process, Strong knowledge of GIS/cartographic outputs.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English (verbal and written). Good written and spoken skills in the language of the humanitarian operation and knowledge of another UN language an asset.
