Contract type: Permanent, full time
Salary:£5,000 pa with comprehensive benefits package

Aim of post:
The purpose of this post is to support the Country Director and team in Bangladesh with reporting, communications and proposal development.
Objectives:
- To network and proactively engage with in-country Prospective donors ( various embassies, DFID, EC, ECHO,USAID, UN organisations) and corporate sector to develop potential partnerships and with other INGOs to work towards developing consortia to position ourself for big in-country funding opportunities.
- To support institutional real-time knowledge of donors and various funding opportunities relevant to the needs of the programme.
- To ensure timely reporting and communication on donor contracts and internal monthly reporting within UP;
- To support in developing funding proposals and concept notes for the various thematic and strategic areas requiring funding within the programme;
- To work with project managers, partners and the finance manager in preparing and submitting proposals in line with the specific funding strategies.
- To ensure that co-funding gaps are closed.
