Our Humanitarian and Emergency Affairs team acts to save lives and alleviate suffering of disaster-affected people by implementing sustainable programmes focused on meeting immediate and long-term needs.

Here’s where you come in:

As**, Child Protection in Emergency Advisor-Bangladesh Refugee Crisis**, you will be responsible for implementing one or more projects from either the conception or implementation phase. You will mainly develops strategy consistent with the Refugee Response Programme, the organisation and the overall child protection plan; coordinates the implementation, monitoring and assessment of the projects carried out; writes donor reports and strengthens the child protection skills in internal teams and local stakeholders. You need to be specialised in; case management, children separated from their families, psychosocial support work, child labour, gender-based violence.

Requirements:

  • Must have at least a Bachelor or Master’s degree in relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of practical experience in humanitarian related work.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, people management, coaching, mentoring, and team building skills.
  • Ability to live and work in difficult remote areas and travel extensively.
